My love of art began at a very early age. My family would jokingly say that I was born with a pencil in my hand. At the age of 16 I began painting seasonal window paintings on storefronts.
Painting storefront windows launched me into many different expressions of art including logo design, business and home mural painting, book illustrating, live event painting, and just about any form of painting you can imagine….challenges keep the soul alive!
More About Rachel
I received my graphic design education from NCS and currently enjoy working as a Graphic Designer for Donley Ford of Ashland, Galion, Mount Vernon, and Shelby. Through all these different avenues, I have now been creating art for my customers for 30 years.
My studio is based out of The Mosaic Church Art Studio in Mansfield, where I manage a community art room. It is a place where artist are encouraged to be who they really are, to express themselves as they explore their gifts, in a space that they can feel loved unconditionally.
My passion is for everyone to radically encounter God’s presence in a visual way and to understand more deeply who they are and to whom they belong. Through art we can bring that which is abstract, seemingly unreachable, take it to an intimate level, and bring it into our physical world in a way that the soul can easily understand.
