Welcome to the Mosaic Art Room
a place dedicated to fellowship, creativity & exploration of God’s gifts.
We accept each other unconditionally as ‘works in progress’.
We are the broken pieces that God is re-purposing for His kingdom.
Art Night is FREE, open to all, every Thursday evening,
between 6-8pm on the third floor of Mosaic Church.
Activities include sketching, talking, writing, painting, eating,
working with clay, drinking coffee and/or tea.
Art supplies are provided by Mosaic Church.
No need to sign up, just show up!

Class 101
Principles & Elements of Art
The 7 Principles of art & design are balance, unity/harmony, variety, emphasis/contrast, movement/rhythm, pattern, and proportion.
The 7 Elements of art & design are line, shape, form, color, texture, space & value.
With an understanding of these 7 principles of art, taught in this class, students will learn how to use each of these 7 elements of art to create their own unique masterpiece.
Class 102
Pencil Drawing
In this class students will learn how to use multiple methods and objects to draw faces, hands and other forms using a light source.
Class 103
Painting
In this class students will learn how to use color effectively in their paintings with the principles of color theory.
Students will learn techniques for painting landscapes, people, still life & animals.
Class will be held on Tuesday evenings
at Mosaic Church in Mansfield Ohio.
